The Italian built torpedo boat Chumporn for Siam [Thailand] according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 12 January 1937
Rome, 11 January. In the presence of the ambassador of Siam [Thailand] en several military and civilian authorities was that day at Monfalcone the sixth of the nine torpedo boats orders by Siam launched. She was named the Chumporn.
