British freighters attacked by aircraft on the Indian Ocean according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 19 August 1942

An item reported that on 18 August two British freighters were bombed, one on a distance of 275 miles, the second one 30 miles south west of Calcutta, India.
