Part of the Kirov-class Project 19 consisting of the Kirov and Dzherzhinskij patrol vessels. Jane’s Fighting Ships edition 1958-1959 called her a frigate annex coast guard vessel. Laid down by Ansaldo, Sestri Ponente, Italy on 8 February 1933, launched on 19 August 1933, completed on 27 October 1934, commissioned on 9 August 1934, discarded on 23 September 1959, converted into a civilian accommodation hulk PKZ-89 and scrapped in mid 1960s. Pacific Fleet.
