British admiral Webb advised reorganisation Greek navy according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant morning edition dated 26 February 1925

The British admiral Webb who was responsible to come with a plan for the reorganisation of the navy of Greece advised that the navy had to exist only of small vessels, torpedo boats, submarines and floating planes while major ships were useless for Greece. He there fore dissuaded the completion of the in Germany and France ordered warships.
