British boom defence vessel HMAS Dunnet (Z 14) 1936-1946

Part of the Dunnet-class (another source claimed of the Bayonet-class. Launched at the yard of Lytham Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., United Kingdom on 5 August 1936 and commissioned on 27 April 1937.With a displacement of 385 tons were her dimensions 125 (perpendicular)-134¼’(over all) x 26½’x 9’ (maximum). Her crew numbered 15 men, She was fitted out with reciprocating engines and a cylindrical boiler which supplied 350 ihp allowing a speed of 10 knots with a coal bunker capacity of 80 tons. The armament consisted of a 1-3”anti aircraft gun.Sold in March 1946 and renamed Kingsmoor.
