Disaster with Finnish warships according to the Dutch newspaper Tilburgsche Courant dated 6 October 1925
This newspaper published a news item according to which the Finnish gunboat Haeneena and two torpedo boats in the middle of the night underway towards Wasa in the Botnic Gulf met a heavy storm. The torpedo boat S 2 sunk taking with her the whole crew of 53 men. Military planes were send to the location of the incident while the Swedish government offered ships for an investigation and the Italian consul two available planes. The torpedo boat was built in 1900 with a displacement of 260 tons and armed with 2-7,5cm guns and torpedo launching equipment. The Haeneenna arrived at Wasa and the second torpedo boat at Björneborg both vessels just slight damaged.
