Displacement 649.955 tons, BRT 236.710 ton, capacity 480.000 later 564.763 ton, IMO no. 7381154, dimensions 458,45 x 68,86 x 24,61 metres, her steam turbines deliverd 50.000 hp allowing a speed of 13 knots. Her owner was Loki Stream AA, since March 2004 Olsen Tankers Pte. Ltd of Singapore. Was chartered by Jahre-Wallem AS. Her crew numbered just 40 men despite her giant dimensions. Her size prevented passing the English Channel or using the Suez Channel and the Panama Channel or entering most of the main seaports.Building begin 1979 for a Greek company which went bankrupt, and she was sold to Tung Chao Yung of Hong Kong, launched December 1976 at the Sumitomo Heavy Industries Ltd., Japan. Her capacity was decreased as asked by her new owner. Between 1978-1989 called Seawise Giant, between 1989-1991 Happy Giant, between 1991-2004 Jahre Viking, between 2004-2009 Knock Nevis after a rebuilding as a floating storage and offloading unit in the waters of Quatar in the oilfields of Al Shaheen and in 2009 renamed Mont and finally broken up at Alang.
