The Russian auxiliary cruisers Dnjepr, Don, Rion, Koeban or Kuban and Terek according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 16 June 1905

London, 15 June. The cargo of the British steamship St. Kilda sunk by the Russian auxiliary cruiser Dnjepr consisted mainly of rice, cotton and jute.

Saigon, 14 June. The Russian auxiliary cruiser Koeban [Kuban] anchored today off cape St. Jacques. The governor of Cochin China immediately sent a warship to protect the neutrality. Her arrival was confirmed by the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlands-Indië dated 16 June 1905.

Flensburg. 15 June. The German Flensburger Dampfschiffahrt-Gesellschaft received a telegram according to which the iron built screw steamship Tetartos on 30 May was destroyed by the Russian auxiliary cruiser Don underway from Japan towards Tientsin in the North Chinese Sea. The Tetartos measured 1,812 register tons. Her crew was saved and landed at Batavia. Her cargo consisted juts of wooden beams destined for a neutral Chinese harbour and there was none war contraband on board. London, 15 June. Tidings were received that the Russian auxiliary cruiser Don now called Rion on 30 May the German ship Targus had destroyed and that the German crew was transported to Batavia.
