Built under supervision of frigate captain Carlos Lourenço Danckardt and launched at the Arsenal de Marinha de Santos on 25 January 1825. Commissioned under command of 1st lieutenant Antonio Carlos Ferreira. Captured by the Argentinean privateer Caesar Fournier and sold for 23.000 pesos on 21 September 1826 to the government at Buenos Aires which was to rename her Maldonado.
