Unloading of the Solo stranded at Terheide, Netherlands in 1911

The photo was published in the Dutch magazine De Prins dated 21 October 1911. She was stranded off Terheide underway from Rotterdam to Java caused by a hurricane. The only casuualties were some wounded sailors included the master. There were no passengers on board. The stores were transported by a special railroad on the strand to the dunes.
