Keel laid 2 July 1907, launched 10 February 1909 with the trials in 1910. Commissioned 15 April 1911, served as a training boat in 1911-1914. In 1914 damaged when she was struck by the cruiser St. Georg. Until October 1915 again in service as training boat.
