German navy officers trained in France according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 13 April 1912


Berlin, 12 April. According to the newspaper National Zeitung were 3 navy officers send by the Department of Navy to France to be trained there as commanding officers of airships. They were during the summer to be followed by a large amount of officers to be trained in controlling Zeppelins. These measures were a result of the plan to commission only very large and fast airships in naval service.
