The Japanese naval shipbuilding program according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 28 December 1935

According to tidings from Tokyo consisted the Japanese naval shipbuilding program of 90 ships with a total tonnage (displacement) of 221.000 ton. At that moment were all ready 28 ships with a total of 56.000 tons completed, 40 still on stocks and with 22 was the building to begin in 1936. As the journalist recalled was the program for the main part all ready completed.
