The mutiny within the French navy according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland evening edition dated 25 August 1925

London, 25 August. From Paris arrived tidings that after complaining about worse food and refusal of shore leave at Naples the crew of the French battleship Courbert first refused to do any service but after a speech of the commanding officer resume their work. A similar incident found place on board of the battleship Paris where 2 crewmembers were to be court-martialled. Both ships were part of the Mediterranean fleet. The evening edition of the next day reported that the court-martial convicted four sailors of the Courbert as being responsible for the mutiny with a imprisonment of 1-4 years.
