A Romanian naval base at the Tasjaoel lake according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland evening edition dated 3 September 1938

As a result of a proposal done by king Carol ordered the Department of air force and navy Romanian industrial companies to establish a fleet base at the Tasjaoel lake, 20 miles North of Constanza, Black Sea. The costs were to be 3.500,000 lei and with an area 10 times that of Constanza.
