Spanish privateers captured or destroyed by the British in 1805

The spelling of the names is English so may not exactly correspond with the original Spanish spelling. The list published in the Naval Gazetter was not complete, compared with the The Naval Chronicle.

Schooner Carmeras, armed with 16 guns, captured by the sloop Lark (18 guns), commanded by Frederick Langford, Bay of Senegal. 8 February 1805
Corvette Orguijo, armed with 18 guns and 82 men, commanded by the Pique (36 guns), commanded by C.B.H. Ross, off the Havana 8 February 1805
Schooner La Fama, armed with 4 guns and 62 men, captured by the Circe (32 guns), commanded by Jonas Rose, off Oporto 1 March 1805, A letter dated 2 March 1805 written by Jonas Rose described the capture of this schooner. She was captured 1 March off Oporto, armed with 4 brass guns and 62 men and left Vigo 8 days earlier but still without any prizes. A letter dated 23 March from rear-admiral Cochrane described her “she seems a remarkable fine vessel, and as she proceeds with the Squadron, I shall soon be able to judge of her qualifications”.
El Intrepide Corune, armed with 14 guns and 66 men, captured by the Immortalité (36 guns), commanded by E.W.C.R. Owen, at sea 7 March 1805. A letter dated 7 March 1805 from E.W.C.R. Owen called her the brig el Intrepede Corune also called la Maria, armed with 14 guns and 66 men, which left Coruna 22 days earlier but without taking any prizes. She was captured after a chase around A second letter dated 4 April 1805 written by admiral Kieth indicates thar her commanding officer was commander Petricio Fasto.

Felicity, armed with 20 guns and 178 men, captured by the Kitty, commanded by Thomas Musgrave, in the Channel 10 March 1805
Felucca Concepcion, armed with 1 gun and 25 men, captured by the Papillon (16 guns), commanded by Wm. Woolsey, at Savannah la Mar 15 April 1805
