Spanish naval movements according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 15 March 1823

Bayonne, 4 March. The corvette Andauze departed the 8th [February?] from Cadiz towards Carthagena with on board rear admiral Rodriguez de Ribeiro and some other navy officers. It was believed that in the latter harbour a fleet was to be fitted out. The goelette Catalane built at the yard at Barcelona was the 9th of this month [February?] launched. There were orders given to fit out in the harbours all available vessels and to repair all those being in a worse condition.
