British troop transport Euphrates harassed by cholera according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Wednesday 27 October 1886

An item reported that on board of the British transport Euphrates which passed last Saturday Perim {Strait of Mandeb off Yemen] cholera broke out in the meantime causing the death of four men.
