Naepolitan galleys and Maltese warships cruising for Algerian privateers according to the Dutch magazine De Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius June 1766
On 26 May was from Porto Ferrajo a tiding received that there Naepolitan galleys and a Maltese warship and chebecq arrived ordered to cruise for Turkish pirates. They took 27 Tunisians of a galliot stranded on the island Giglio to become slaves.
