The Naval Commission proposed the US Secretary of Navy an extensive naval program for 1913 consisting of six 1st rank battleships (1), 16-18 destroyers, 1 auxiliary repair ship, a hospital ship and a number of colliers, gunboats and transports, total estimated costs 100.000.000 American dollar.(1)
