An item referred to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet which reported that the Soviet Baltic Fleet was further strengthened. In 1937 would the Soviet submarine fleet consist of 55 totally new units. The result would be an increase of the Soviet political influence in all Baltic States and Sweden.
