England and USA accepted Japanese naval demands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 9 April 1930

An item dated London 8 April reported that Briand returned to England and the heads of the delegations of England. USA and Japan decided to accept the Japanese demand to substitute earlier the program of light cruisers and destroyers. The question dealing with the Japanese reserves was however yet not solved.
