South Africa decided no to pay annual contribution for the Royal British Navy according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 14 June 1921

An item dated Capetown 12 June reported that the motion in the House of Representatives of general Hertzog to stricken from the South African budget the annual contribution for the Royal British Navy of 85.000 pound sterling nearly was accepted.
