An item referred to another Dutch newspaper Telegraaf that the Dutch government considered to increase the professional part of the navy personnel. Each year were 2x90 sailors appointed and in the future should that be 3x90 sailors. The annual contingent navy recruits was not increased. The training of professionals and recruits was with all means to be advanced.
