Greek royal family fled with torpedo boat Daphne according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 20 December 1923

An item dated Athens the 19th reported that the Greek royal family left Piraeus towards Constanza, Romania on board of the torpedo boat Daphne accompanied by a marshal, an adjutant and a honour guard of 12 sailors. The king still refused to sign the decree of his abdication.(1)
