Greek torpedo boat Aspis visiting Amsterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 2 May 1908

An item reported that in the afternoon the Greek torpedo boat Aasbis [Aspis] arrived in the Oosterdoksluis, Amsterdam for a visit of four days. (1) She was bound for Gibraltar. Her commanding officer was Lambros while the crew numbered seventy men. The torpedo boat was built at the yard Vulcan at Stettin.

1. Part of the Niki-class destroyers built at Stettin consisting of the Niki, Aspism Doxa and Velos with a displacement of 350 tons (full laod) and as dimensions 67,0 x 6,6 x 2,7 metres. The armament consisted of 2-12pd (3"/7,6cm) guns, 4-6pd (5,7cm) guns and 2-5,7cm/18" torpedo tubes).
