Bulgarian aviso Nadiedja launched according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1898-1899 no. 7

An item reported that the launching on 21 September at the shipyard Chantiers et Ateliers de la Gironde of the Bulgarian aviso Nadiedja, At that moment she was completed including the engines, boilers, rigging and able to perform within some days her first trial. Her dimensions were 66,90 x 8,40 x 3,49 (aft) metres. Her armament consisted of 2-10cm quick firing guns, 2-6,5cm quick firing guns and 11-4,7cm quick firing all Schneider-Canet manufactured. It was expected that during the trials she would at least reached a speed of 17 miles. The edition no. 9 called her the cruiser Radjezda which performed very well during the trial with a speed of 18,85 miles. (1)

Conways All the worlds fighting ships 1860-1905 calls her the torpedo gunboat Nadezhda launched in 1898 with a displacement of 751 tons, dimensions 67,00 (over all) x 8,30 x 3,10 (maximum) metres or 21910x 273 x 102, a crew numbering 95 men and an armament consisting of 2-39 guns, 2-9pdr gun, 2-3pdr guns and 2 torpedo tubes. The edition 1906-1921 reported that she was dismantled in 1918.
