French navy transport Seine wrecked according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1933 no. 2

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 31 December 1932 reported that on 20 December of last year the French 3.200 ton transport Seine wrecked in the Bay of Gascogne despite not really worse weather. She was loaded with a cargo of 34cm guns to be used for the coast defence of Toulon, France and Bizerte, Tunisia. A week earlier was she grounded in the Charente at Rochefort and hastily repaired so it was thought that this damage caused the disaster.
