Shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing, Netherlands not interested in building Austrian submarines in 1912

In her meeting on 12 November 1912 decided the board of the shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde not to be interested in building six submarines for the Austrian navy. The firm Whitehead at Fiume requested this building via her intermediary P. Koster at Paris. (1)The main reason for refusing this order was that in sharing the profit the shipyard would receive just 25% which was not enough regarded the necessary needed complete reorganisation of the shipyard.
