American steamship Siberia grounded according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd 20 November 1916

An item reported that the American steamship Siberia was grounded on the East Goodwins near Dover. It was impossible to lower her lifeboats and all ships were asked to help her. She was built in 1901 at Newport News, measured 11.284 tons and owned by the Atlantic Transport Co. of West Virginia.
