Dutch tug Belawan destined for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 16 July 1930

An item reported that the steel-built tug Belawan departed a day earlier loaded on board of the Dutch motor ship Talisse Amsterdam via Antwerp destined for Java. She was built at a Dutch shipyard of which the name was not mentioned in this item.
