British and French warships at Cadiz according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 15 July 1825

Cadiz, 24 June. According to the private correspondence of the newspaper Journal des Débats arrived the British frigate the day before yesterday at Cadiz coming from Gibraltar. The commanding officer of a French brig of war responsible for the health care send a feluc warning not to enter the bay before have being in quarantine. While there wasn't a suitable place for this purpose at Cadiz he was send to the hospital at Mahon. The commanding officer of the Active refused this saying that Gibraltar was a Spanish harbour and he won't respond to other governments and finally he entered Cadiz without the quarantine procedure. The French frigate le Tarn departed yesterday towards Brest.
