American Asiatic fleet not strengthened according to the Dutch newspaper Niewsblad van het Noorden dated 10 January 1941

An item reported that the US minister of navy Knox announced that at moment there was no intention to enlarge the Asiatic fleet. In the spring were the usual naval manoeuvres. The newspaper Arnhemsche Courant dated 10 January confirmed this item.
