Building of Turkish merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 18 February 1937

An item dated Istanbul 17 February reported that a German consortium of shipyards signed a contract to built ten merchant ships fro Turkey, total costs 10.000.000 Turkish pound to be paid via a clearing agreement.
