Hawkins-class
The newspaper Daily Telegraph reported that the Admiralty decided to modernize and rearm the old cruisers Hawkins, Effingham and Frobisher which were now part of the reserve.(1) They were to be armed with 15cm guns and a strong anti aircraft defence.
