The French and Turkish navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 9 September 1837

All available warships and steamboats which are anchored in the harbour of Toulon of to arrive there were immediately sent to join the French squadron crossing in the Mediterranean for the Turkish fleet.
