Augsburg, 10 August. The newspaper Allgemeine Zeitung published an item dated Semlon 21 July dealing with the fire at the arsenal. There were 2 ships of the line and 3 frigates burned. One of the ships of the line was an 80’er. What caused the fire was still unknown According to one rumour at Belgrade told the pasha his doctor that the Greeks were to be blamed.

Trieste, 2 August. The Captain Pasha was 22 July still off Patras and the Turkish reinforcements sent through the Gulf of Lepante still didn’t arrive at Corinth. In the mean time seemed that just 400 men returned on the fleet of the Captain Pasha.
