An item dated Port Elisabeth, South Africa 27 May reported that the unloaded cargo of the Dutch frigate ship Liberaal captain Wierikx underway from Java, Dutch East Indies towards Amsterdam, Netherland was undamaged. Another newspaper De Tijd dated 21 May published an item dated Port Elisabeth the 17th reporting her arrival coming Probolingo being in a worse condition making 4”water in each hour and that now her cargo was unloaded.
