Intended sale of the Prussian bark Amalia at Vlissingen, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 3 September 1840

An announcement reported the intended auction on Friday 1 September 10.00 o’clock in the coffee house den Prinsen Tuin at Vlissingen, Netherlands of the condemned 315 tons Prussian bark ship Amalia of Konigsberg (1) captain J.J. Zimmerman with her inventory. She was brought into Vlissingen on 26 June with damage underway from Memel (2) towards Bristol, England. The edition dated the 8th mentioned a new auction date namely Friday the 11th 10.00 o’clock in the same locality.
