Dutch frigate Elisabeth Antoinette launched at Middelburg, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 13 August 1839

An item dated Middelburg, Netherlands the 12th reported that on the Saturday before at the shipyard of the Commercie Compagnie in Middelburg the frigate ship Elisabeth Antoinette of 450 lasten was launched. Built for account of G.C. Bosch Reitz of Amsterdam, Netherlands, destined for the shipping trade line Amsterdam-Batavia, Dutch East Indies and intended captain D. Spreew. The same day were her masts and bowsprit placed.
