Turkish captured on the Greek island Ipsara a huge amount of guns and vessels according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 10 August 1824

An item dated Constantinople, Turkey dated 15th July reported that the Turkish Grand Admiral took the Greek island Ipsara. Around 200 guns and more as 100 vessels were captured. Of the latter were 28 so armed and fitted out that they immediately could depart to open sea and be added to the Turkish fleet. On the shipyards were three yet not completed corvettes found.
