1. The Ducth newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 19 April 1862 reported that on short notice she was to be launhced by the shipyard of the Commercie Compagnie, Middelnurg, Netherlands. An announcement in the Middelburgsche Courant dted 19 August 1862 reported that she would depart on 6 September towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies, captain F. Nepperus Fz., measurement 397 measured lasten. The edition dated 9 September reported that she was towed that afternoon to the roads of Rammekens.
