Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Zeepaard departed Plymouth, Englannd bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 1 June 1820

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 28 May reported that the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Zeepaard which left on 5 May Texel continued her voyage towards the Dutch East Indies by leaving Plymouth, England where she was lying since the 15th due to contrary winds on the 23rd.(1)

1. Laid down at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands in February 1817, launched on 11 July 1819 and in 1823 underway from the Dutch East Indies to the Netherlands wrecked in the Algoa-Bay. Armament 28 guns. Crew numbered 150 men, in 1819 increased with 17 marines and 12 sailors extra.
