Dutch ship Sara Lijda transported troops to the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Utrechtse provinciale en stads-courant dated 29 March 1847

An item referred to tidings received from Den Helder, Netherlands the 26th reporting that on 6 April a detachment of 180 non-commissioned officers and oldiers commanded by captain Scheltens of the Dutch East Indies Army accompanied by 2nd lieutenant Niemandsverdriet and officer of health Broekmeijer would depart towards Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands to embark on board of the Sara Lijdia captain Van der Tak bound for the Dutch East Indies.
