This must be the French barque-rigged cruiser Chateaurenault laid down in 1865 at the shipyard of Normand, launched in 1868 completed a year later and finally hulked in 1895/ With a displacement of 1.820 tons were her dimensions 78,18 (between perpendiculars) x 10,74 x 5,74 metres. With a crew numbering around 202 men consisted her armament of 1-6.4” gun and 4-5.5” guns, taer replaced by 7-5.5“guns and 4-1pd revolvers. With a horsepower of 1.700 hp she could develop a speed of 14,3 knots. Wood-built.
