British brig sloop HMS Zebra departed Bombay, British Indies towards the Gulf of Kutch according to the Dutch newspaper Java Government Gazette dated 23 March 1816

An item reported the departure from Bombay, British Indies on 27 December 1815 of the British sloop HMS Zebra commanded by Bridges towards the Gulph of Kutch.(1)

1. Brig sloop, England, launched at the Bombay dockyard, British Indies on 18 November 1815, wrecked in the Levant on 2 December 1840, a 385 tons builders measurement and an armament of 18 guns.
