Bark Roscoe arrived at New Bedford, USA transporting catches of several American whalers according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 2 August 1859

An item reported the arrival at New Bedford, USA on the 27th of the bark Roscoe coming from Bay of Islands, New Zealand with 900 barrels sperm oil from the E.L.B. Jenney (1) for Gibbs&Jenney, Fairhaven. 100 barrels sperm oil from the ship Petrel for John R. Thornton, New Bedford, 4.000 lbs bone from bark Margaret Scott for Rodney French, New Bedford.
