Of the admirality Amsterdam, launched at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands on 20 June 1788, captured by British off Norwegian coast 22 August 1795, in service as victualler Alliance, sold May 1802, dimensions (Amsterdam foot) 139 8/11 (lower deck)-140 x 37½-37 8/11 x 15½-15 8/11, height between decks 5'8", an armament of 36 guns and a 697 British tons builders measurement. Commanding officers 1791-1794 captain L. Spengler and 1794-1795 captain N.A. Cambier.
