An item reported the passing of the Sunda Strait by the North German ship Xaca captain M. Kalssen leaving Sonderburg, Germany on 4 September 1869 towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies. She arrived there on the 2nd and was described as a schooner with as shipping agents C. Bahre&G. Kinder.
