Dutch tug Donau underway from Brazil towards Spain according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 16 July 1914

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands 15^th reported that the Dutch tug Donau arrived on the 11^th at St. Vincent coming from Rio Janeiro, Brazil and continued her voyage towards Vigo, Spain on the 13^th.(1)

Wilton’s Machinefabriek&Scheepswerf, Rotterdam, Netherlands with yard number 217 for account of the Internationale Sleepdienstmaatschappij, Rotterdam in 1910 with as dimensions 35,13 x 6,93 x 3,40 metres with a 500 ihp triple expansion 3 cylinder steam engine? In 1914-1918 in service of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Finally broken up at Frank Rijsdijk’s Industrieele Ondernemingen N.V., Hendrik Ido Ambacht, Netherlands.
